Dumbbell vs Cable Lateral Raise — where's the tension?
Same movement — completely different tension. A dumbbell always pulls straight down, so your side delts only really work at the top of the rep. A cable pulls toward the pulley, keeping tension on your delts even at the bottom where the dumbbell goes light. Watch where the force actually goes. 🔴
