Diverging Seated Row: What "Diverging" Means

0:22 11 September 2026

On a diverging seated row the two handles don't run parallel. Each one turns on its own pivot, angled out in front of you — so as you pull, the handles travel apart and your hands finish wider than they started.

A fixed machine can't do that: its handles hold the same width, start to finish.
